Japanese's glory—Fuji mountain

What's the most exciting news that overwhelm Japanese in 2013?
Yes!!!  Mountain Fuji has officially been registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site on June 22nd, 2013!!!

For a long long time, lots of Japanese have been eager to witness Fuji mountain become a world heritage, for it serves as not only a cultural representation but also a spiritual symbol for Japan.

Although its height may not compare with the Mt. Everest, Mountain Fuji is still the most popular attraction worldwide.  Why? Please take a glimpse at the followings for the best answer.

Yes, it's the breathtaking landscape and the tranquil atmosphere that make Fuji mountain stand out.

You may wonder since Fuji mountain is not as dangerous as Grand Canyon, can one easily take pictures with it clearly?

On the contrary, it's very possible to drive around the mountain and never see it, because the fog there is heavy all the year round. Even we succeeded to take a photo as posted above, Fuji mountain was like floating among clouds in the sunny winter day!  Therefore, if you plan to visit Fuji mountain in the future, try the winter time, when the air is dry and clear. Hope you can get a wonderful picture!

The Temple of Dawn with a special guest

As everybody knows, the power of religion is so huge that lots of great artworks and buildings around the world were created to pay respect toward God. For my memory, the Wat Arun, commonly known as “the Temple of Dawn” in Thailand, serves as the best example for the following reasons:

1.It is the biggest temple with the most exquisite decoration in Thailand
2.The stair toward the top of the temple is known for its unbelievably steep slope, which make every tourist exhausted.
3.The story about the buddha is hidden in the ornament made by colorful china and seashell.

After all those mentioned above, I have to admit that I felt a little bit bored , for I was only ten years old during my travel. Instead, what really impressed me was those Bangkok “extracurricular activities”, such as riding on an elephant, flying high in the air, and playing sand with my friends. Check them below…

Now, here's a little challenge for you.
You may find familiar with the handsome boy sitting next to me, because he is one of our classmates in this English class.
Still get confused? Let's change another angle of view. I personally feel so honorable and lucky to have known him long time ago.

Haha, someone must have found himself in the picture, and maybe somebody feels like to take a guess?

Dare to challenge? Welcome to Grand Canyon

Anyone dare to walk among the clouds?  This time, let's fly to the natural heritages in America—Grand Canyon.

After watching the above photo, you'll realize that EVERYONE is excited except those with acrophobia(懼高症).  If you aren't afraid of height, you can walk along the path, and sit on the rock at the peak, just like me.  But remember to watch out your steps, for there's no fence along the path, just like Yellowstone does.

Besides the amazing and gorgeous view, this national park offers a special gift which challenges everyone—
a glass skywalk
My parents and I took the challenge, and walked through the whole path.  However, due to some “business reasons” , taking pictures on the skywalk is forbidden, so I can't show any picture to you.  Personal belongings, including cameras are not allowed on the bridge.  ...Professional photos of you on the bridge are available for purchase after your walk.  ” can be confirmed on the official website.
For more spectacular landscape seen through the skywalk or the details, please watch the following film.

Yellowstone—a world-class national park

This time, I'd like to introduce a world-class national park, Yellowstone National Park.

Established in 1872, the first national park in the world features lots of tourist attractions, such as Grand Canyon, Grand Prismatic Spring, and Old Faithful Geyser.
Everybody must have seen valleys, springs, and geyser, but the scale here much differ to others'.
Gorgeous” and “fantastic”would be the most proper adjectives for Yellowstone. The scenery there stunned me, just an eight-year old kid back then. Take Grand Canyon for example, the height and width there are really behind my imagination.
There's still a spot in Yellowstone I'd like to mention—lower falls.

This falls is not only huge in size, but also exquisite. If you're lucky enough, you can even witness a rainbow in the valleys! Although the landscape there is attractive, watch out your steps! The moisture there might make you slip. So, when you visit there in the future, check for your safety while enjoying the scenery.
If you're interested in finding out why the Old Faithful won't be faithful one day, check out the following film about Yellowstone National Park and, click it!

The shimmering temple-Golden Pavilion

Today,I'll continue to introduce the heritages in Japan.Contrary to the fairy-like vallage in mountains which I introduced last week, the topic today is about a luxurious temple,Golden Pavilion.
It was built in 1397 by the statesman at that time,足利義滿.
This shimmering temple attracts tourists worldwide annually.

If you're interested in its history or background, here's a website for you to learn more about it:http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3908.html
Although it's an important cultural heritage in Japan,a foreigner such as I don't care about it yet.
What I am really impressed is its gorgeous view with the autumn foilage, just like the following picture.

The winter landscape of it is fantastic as well, but I prefer the autumn one,for the other one usually give me a sense of solitude.

At last,I prepare a film about Golden Pavilion, hope you to enjoy the beautiful view and introduction in it.
