Hi
everyone! Today,I'm going to introduce a heritage in japan, called
Gassho Zukuri Folk Village(白川郷合掌屋).
It was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in December 1995 .(detail is from UNESCO)
It is famous for its fairy-like landscape in winter and the approache for building the house.
I have visited there when I was nine. Although I didn't take a trip to there in winter, the spring scenery still touched me a lot. The tranquil atmosphere there gave me a different feeling in Taiwan.
Without annoying sounds and hustle and bustle lifestyle,we can appreciate the beautiful view surrounding us,don you agree?
I don't want to introduce the spot in Gassho Zukuri Folk Village, for this article may read like an article copied by Wiki,so I prepare a interesting video below, which is a clip from NHK. Although we might consider the Japanese's English a little bit weird, their formal program is still great,so hope you to enjoy it .
It seems a village in another world~
回覆刪除Must be a great pleasure to live in it...
Yes,but there's a tourists attraction at present, only few people really dwell in there.
刪除Here's a film about the village's view,take it!

I have also been there before! It was a lovely village!
回覆刪除It looks so beautiful but there was a bad news that such amazing place were badly polluted because some tourists left a lot of garbage there.Hope it could be as clear as before so that more and more people can be impressed by its beautiful scenery.
回覆刪除The snow scene looks great and the way they build and protect their building is quite interesting !
